Hey, I'm Danae! (She/Her) 

I started my business in 2010 and have been struggling ever since to write a good "about me" section.
This page used to tell you all about my photography education and how much I love my job, and frankly, it was boring. Even to me. 
So here I am, 12+ years in business, giving up on a perfectly flowing life story/resume and instead just messily jot down some things

that are  important in my world and make me me:

| I'm based in Milwaukie, Oregon (just outside of Portland) & happily travel anywhere work (or life) takes me |

| My partner And (they|them) & I recently celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary which has me feeling all sorts of sappy... and old |
| I'm an animal lover through & through & always on the lookout for dog snuggles - if you have pets I want to meet them | 
| I'm an introvert and my happy place is being in the forest/nature (yes, I do want to take you hiking for your session!) |
I love camping & I love cooking - my perfect Oregon vacation is making really good food in the woods | 

| I believe you can decorate a home in only houseplants - and photos of course |
